Garlock gland packing Style 5000 Durable, Non-Contaminating, carbon fiber packing impregnated with PTFE and treated with high temperature break in lubricant. Developed for long service against strong caustics, acids, slurries, and situations where contamination is prohibited. Applications include stem valves, slip-type expansion joints, mixers, agitators, reactors, autoclaves, centrifugal pumps, and hydropower turbines. - Low abrasion and high chemical resistance for long service time. - ideal where contamination is prohibited, such as in the pulp and paper industry. - Low chloride certification available. - The 5000-PBI style offers additional abrasion resistance.
