Gland Packing tombo 9036 PTFE FIBER Gland Packing tombo 9036 is pure TFE Fiber Packing but with a greatly improved ability to seal high speed shafts with the addition of an inactive and heat resistant agent. It retains the same features as the 9034 against chemical and mechanical attack. great dimensional stability, effective seal with low gland pressure etc.
Since TFE is low in thermal conductivity and large in thermal expansion, frictional heat is not carried out to the outside of the stuffing box but is trapped inside and damages the packing, so TOMBO 9034 is not recommended for high speed pumps.
